Father and maker of all,
you adorn all creation
with splendor and beauty,
and fashion human lives
in your image and likeness.
Awaken in every heart
reverence for the work of your hands,
and renew among your people
a readiness to nurture and sustain
your precious gift of life.
Grant this through our Lord
Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in
the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God forever and ever.

Through the entire sacramental life of our Church, through our concern for one another, through our works of charity, through our vocations in society and through our family life, we continue to grow in the knowledge of the Gospel we are called to live out and to proclaim to others. We are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ through prayer, ministry and worship.

FATHER ADAM KASELA
Father Adam Kasela was born January 1, 1971, in Juszcyn, Poland, about 40 miles south of Krakow. He comes from a family of seven priests and one nun.
Pope Saint John Paul II was an important role model in his life; teaching with clarity and joy that challenged him and moved him to a greater love for Our Lord and his Church. After High School he entered the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, where he remained for 5 years. Desiring to serve Churches in the United States: he would have to leave the Oblate community. So, in the late 90’s he came to America and was Ordained a Priest on June 9, 2001. His greatest “joy” as a priest comes from offering the sacraments. To offer the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is his greatest joy. “To stand at the altar, in Christ’s very person, and offer his sacrifice for the entire world, is awe-inspiring and humbling at the same time.” To extend the mercy and healing grace of Christ, and to restore the relationship between God and a soul helps reinforce that the gift of priesthood is not for him BUT for the world. There is no greater joy than this! Father Adam has served at St. James, St Peter Claver, Blessed Sacrament and currently St. Stephen’s Parish.

Deacon Doug was ordained as Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Savannah on 26 May 2012 and assigned by the Bishop to tend to the flock at Saint Stephen First Martyr Catholic Church. He holds a Masters’ Degrees in both Theology and Criminology.
